History of Tattooing Exhibition in Boston

If you are lucky enough to visit Boston in the US this summer, don't miss the exhibition "Loud, Naked & in Three Colors: the History of Tattooing in Boston" which is being held in Milton, a few miles outside, on the history of tattooing in the city. Curated by American Derin Bray, an avid collector and history buff of American tattooing, the exhibition focuses on the work of Frank Howard and the Liberty family who dominated the field until the practice was banned in 1962. If you can't make it there, you can always read the book "Loud, Naked & in Three Colors" published by the American publisher Rake House. "Loud, Naked & in Three Colors: the History of Tattooing in Boston" - Eustis Estate Museum, Milton, Massachusetts. Exhibition open until 30 October 2022 - More info at https://www.historicnewengland.org/
