Tattooed women told by themselves is the subject of this book entitled "S'aimer tatouée", a collection of interviews and photographs. 195 women of all ages share with the author Nathalie Kaïd (visual artist-photographer) the relationship they have with their tattooed bodies. Over the course of 300 pages, they evoke their intimate stories, acts of faith, and commitments that have found in the act of tattooing their best means of expression. The theme of therapeutic tattooing is at the heart of the book. Several women who have suffered from breast cancer explain how tattooing has helped them rebuild after the ordeal of treatment and surgery. This is a subject dear to Nathalie Kaïd, who also founded the association "Soeurs d'encre" (Sisters of Ink) in Bordeaux, which puts women marked by the stigma of the disease in contact with health and tattooing professionals. « S’aimer tatouée » de Nathalie Kaïd - Éditions Vegas - 36€
