Tattooed faces are proliferating around us and this has not escaped the eye of Joakim Steyls who, in 2018, began to photograph them. After 70 portraits taken in black and white, the idea of a book emerged, and here is the first volume. Explicitly titled "Jobstoppers", the Belgian photographer has selected a gallery of 25 faces whose illustrated or even vandalised faces bear witness to the radical nature of an act that is far from harmless and that questions the limits of the acceptance of tattoos in society. Some of the models are more famous than others, and we can recognise tattoo artists such as Yonah Krank, Yann Brenyak and Freddy Corbin. Each portrait is accompanied by a text about the model photographed. Please note that the book is only available for pre-order until 28 February. Two versions are available: Deluxe (limited to 100 copies, 80€) or standard (65€). "Jobstoppers: a collection of face tattoo portraits vol. 1" - 204 pages.
