This is the second edition of this special event which brings together comics and tattooing. The success of the first one with more than 7000 admissions pushed the organizers, Michel Renard (Au Jardin des bulles) and Yann Gouet (Buzz tattoo and organiser of the Tattoo Convention in Nantes) to repeat the event, always at "Le Chorus" park in Vannes.
For tattooing, about 70 artists were present, with a very « newschool » set: Bougne who made the poster this year as well as Joakim "le Kid" young Breton artist who made a good impression on the show, Mikado, Ludo de G-Gen, Jérome "crazycaps" Mirano, Sid L-Boy, Joe Rackham, Golem etc. Other styles were also represented. We could admire Charly Chou’s of « Les Vilains Bonhommes » superb Neo-trad, the tattoos of Erwan GwadPearl, Fanny and Sophie of Buzz Tattoo and the trad old-school of Nacib Tanuki and many others...
It is undoubtedly one of the few conventions, if not the only one that brings these two arts together, a superb initiative, a great event in a great city, we are looking forward to return for the third edition. DHK, translation James
