Christian is born in Belley, a small town from "Bas-Bugey" in "Ain" (France) where he practices his art. Countryside of "Brillat-Savarin" (Lawyer and especially gourmet and culinary author) and like amateurs of good food, the tattoo connaisseurs don't think twice. Christian sooths their skin with colorful tattoos and with good taste. Short scolarship, he prefers to scribble drawings for his friends. At the age of fifteen, blasting bands like "Bérurier Noir", "Banlieue Rouge", other electric alternative bands, he starts a plumber and heating technician apprenticeship, and then finally gets employed. It's after a work accident that he decides to mark the occasion by getting inked at Pierre's tattoo shop : "Body-Art" in "Chambéry". Going under his needles is a revelation ! He realises the artistic possibilities that this field has to offer. So, he decides to show his drawings to the tattooist, to which he offers a formation. OBSERVING , soldering needles, drawing, smelling the vibe... Two years later in 2000, Christian opens his shop "L'Encre du Peuple" in his good old town OF Belley. Member of a street-punk Band "Protocol'rebel" for seven years, Christian believes that the graphical elements and the percussive images from activists environments had a huge influence on his drawing. His style is a mix of Neo-trad, new school and neo-Japanese all with a touch of Punk'n'roll style. FOR a few years, Christian HAS BEEN TAKING PART IN some conventions, we crossed his path in Toulouse, Marseille and also Barcelona and Evian. "Tattoo Folk Art" is his moto ! 140 pages.
